Fishing at Agnew Lake Lodge is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. With solid populations of walleye, perch, northern pike and trophy smallmouth bass, you’re not likely to wait too long for a strike. Located on the Spanish River water system, just two and a half hours east of Sault Ste Marie Ontario, eight kilometers north of Webbwood, our waters are home to some of the best fishing in the province.

For anglers with a penchant for adventure, you will also have access to our back lakes, and only a short drive away, you’ll find streams and smaller lakes where you can find trout. We offer bait and tackle at the lodge, along with fishing licenses, so once you’re here, you won’t have to trek to find supplies. We’ve got what you need!

From the mouth of the Spanish River to the north to the dam in Nairn Center to the south, Lake Agnew is twenty-two miles long, so there’s plenty of room to stretch and find your own bit of solitude in this gorgeous area. We also offer boat rentals, including a pontoon boat for those interested in taking their angling onto the lake itself.

So come visit Agnew Lake Lodge and let’s go fishing!

Fish the Whalesback Channel and its many islands for great northern pike and small-mouth bass action. One mile east of camp is the Spanish River and its famous walleye fishery. A mile to the south of the camp, the Whalesback empties into the North Channel where deep, clear blue waters hold perch, lake trout and salmon. Or, why not head inland to numerous smaller, secluded back lakes where we have boats cached for multi-species angling. Fish in comfort and style in our 16 foot deep and wide aluminum boats. All vessels come equipped with flat carpeted floors, swivel boat seats, life jackets, oars, anchors, and nets. The power is provided by new, dependable 20 hp outboards. All of our cottages were newly built in 1997. They are fully equipped and modern, each with its own private lake front deck with a spectacular view of the islands. Inside, you'll enjoy full baths with hot and cold water, full-sized fridge's and stoves and all cooking utensils. All units have electric heat and are fully insulated for those chilly nights.
