There's no better location for a Fishing Resort than to be a drive-to lodge situated on the sunny shores of Lake of the Woods, with the lake's natural tranquil beauty, large expanses of water with many sand shores and rock faced islands mingled throughout the fish filled waters. There are 7 main species of the 11 freshwater fish found in this fishing area: Muskie, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Black Crappie, Perch & Sauger, and also Sturgeon, Rock Bass, Whitefish & Burbot. Depending on the species you are fishing for, your fishing adventure can start right off of our Dock & right in our Bay while catching a variety of fish that come to feed in the protected waters. Being on the edge of the big waters often push the bait fish into our Bay, thus causing a plethora of Larger Fish coming to feed in the low pressure fishing waters. We are where the Islands start and there's many places to find fish, so if you haven't caught enough fish yet, you can follow the "hot spot" map we give you or the GPS with the Lake Map Chip in it on our Deluxe 18-19' Boats to find the next spot that might yield another school of fish or that trophy fish you've been after. There's plenty of fish out there of all sizes! Tie your boat up to one of our Boat Slips with electricity in one of our 3 protected harbors, clean your fish in our conveniently placed Fish Cleaning Facility, then take the short walk up to your welcoming lakeview Cabin that is clean, modern & even has Air Conditioning and HD Satellite TV. Relax for awhile or head down to the Lodge where the tantalizing aroma of your hearty home-cooked meal meets you at the door.
